Hello,
This is my first post on DIYAUDIO.
I'm trying to use an old speaker/tweeter and I'm wondering if the circuit on the attached pictures is "just" a Lowpass filter or if it is something else?
I'll be happy to understand what it is how it works and, i know the red and black are the outputs to the speaker, I am not sure at all where the inputs are on this circuit to connect my sound source.
Could someone help me?
Thank you a lot in advance!
Jimm

Hi Jimm! (Is that definitely with two 'm's?)
Welcome, first poster!
It's not too clear what's going on from your photos - I can only see a couple of coils and a capacitor - can you provide more helpful photos?
We could do with more information, such as make and model of speaker, the drivers etc.

Since it is a random pile of parts, it could be anything you want it to be. Did it come from the speaker you are trying to get to work?
If it has two inductors and a capacitor (photos are difficult to work with) then it could have been useable as a lowpass filter.
