Loose Headshell

Hopefully someone on here can verify this for me.

I have just bought a Pro-ject Debut 2 turntable and the headshell is quite loose, should it be?? I have noticed if I swivel it around there is a small hole that looks like a screw may fit in it, but one wasn't supplied??

Any help with this would be greatly appriciated!

Hi - a head shell should not, under any circumstances, be loose. Thats why i like the rega arm - integrated in the cast. The headshell is nothing but a part of the arm, removable only to accomodate easier change of cartridges. Go back to you dealer and complain.
