I own a DJ business, it's very small, I'm the only employee. I do this as a second side job. I understand a decent amt of how speakers work. Wattages, ohms, RMS, etc (I think).
I have 2x B52 Matrix 2000 systems.
B-52 Professional Matrix-2000 1200-watt Active Speaker System - 18" Subwoofer and 2x12" Satellites
A Crown CE 4000? amp that pairs with 2x Peavey SP2's. Crown puts out 650wats RMS 8 ohms, SP2's can handle 500 watts RMS 8 ohms. (if memory serves me correctly)
I have a 19" Numark mixer, BBE sonic maximize, Numark dual deck CD Player, Furman power conditioner, everything monster cable.
I technically have 3 independent audio systems. I usually use the 2 B52's together and if I need more sounds I bring the SP-2's.
That's a ton of equipment. Further more it just doesn't sound as good to me as it once did. I was considering upgrading to bigger speakers or attempting to do something with what I currently have.
I'm sure there are members on here who are a lot more savvy then I - what could I do to either A. further enhance my current system or B. suggestions on what to buy for a bigger system.
I DJ 200+ head count weddings, and HS proms and homecomings.

All I can suggest is making sure none of the speakers are blown or damaged. Run a sine wave through the system a modest level and listen for buzzes or whines that don't belong.
Maybe check that the speakers are in the correct phase. There's two piece instruments that generate a click in one box, then the other box has a microphone and circuit that indicates if the click is positive or negative going. Elektor published plans for a "Phase Check for Audio Systems" in December 1990, and it was reprinted in a book of audio projects. Or, maybe you can just burn a CD with clicks and use an app on a smartphone or tablet or laptop to display the pulse polarity.
I might be tempted to add an extra subwoofer, if it's possible to get a line-level sub output from the B52.

I'm actually frustrated bec overall I'm just not getting enough sound. Thinking of selling both b52 matrix 2000 systems and buying something with more power. The b52s sound great but they lack in power for bigger rooms.

Ditching everything for a more integrated setup would be my suggestion.
B52's are great for beginner DJ rigs and SP2's are good for HEAVY metal but if you need more output and flexibility a set of powered speakers and (cosmetically) matching subs would be something to look into.

I'd go for some of the QSC or EV 1kW active speakers. They're biamped, active crossovers, independent limiting, the lot. Give them a suitable sub and you're passing 120dB happily. One of those per side plus some suitably powerful subwoofers and you're good to go.
I used to help with a band that had a huge PA system (multiple 15" tops and subs), they sold the lot and got a couple of QSC active 12"s.
