I need a resistor to repair my fluke multimeter. The description from the service manual is MF, 1k, +- 1%, 100PPM, FLMPRF, FUSIBLE. Part number 650085. Can anyone help?
A picture would be helpful to identify the size of it but it is only:-
1K +/- 1% Metal Film Fuseable resistor.
100 Parts Per Million and Flameproof.
Basically a 1K fuse.

This is the sort of thing.

Some years ago I had the same problem. Searching for the part number turned up nothing until one single usenet post gave an equivalent part number. That number led to a link on Fluke's site where I bought a few spares. Sorry I can't seem to locate the post anymore. Try calling the parts department. They were a few $ a piece with a $10 minimum order.
