I've been looking high and low for quality gold planted 4.4mm jacks and plugs, but i'm not having a lot of luck. I can find a few cheap as hell jacks with those damn pin terminals, but I'd like ones that have proper soldering tabs. I'm looking for both cable to cable male and female gold plated 4.4mm connectors as well as right angle through hole / panel mount female gold plated connectors. preferably a place where I can order 1 to start out with, and if I like it by the hundreds afterwards.

Change to 3.5 or 6.35 mm (1/8" or 1/4").
4.4 mm is really odd size, Soviet or military.

4.4mm is Sony pentaconn not a military thing, and it's not about switching to another size I'm making a headphone amp and I want it to have 3.5mm, 4.4mm, 1/4", and XLR on the front so I don't have to use adapters.
May have been invented at Pentaconn and adopted by Sony among others.
This looks like a store for gold-plated parts, but for US$26-43 I would want lumps of solid gold, not a thin gold flash.

the 10-100 price is crazy. the 1,440 price is not bad at all, but the amount is crazy. also in the quote they make it sound like 1440 is two reels and if so they should have quoted me on just a single reel. anyways I don't suppose anyone wants to split an order .... lol
