Good day all~ After a 10 yr hiatus & liquidation of everything, I'm getting back into it with the Tascam Model 24.
So far I have an Equitek E100 for electric guitar, but for recording my custom 12 string acoustic, (& single micing a 6 string on omni), thinking I'd put a larger diaphragm mic capable of an omni pattern on the sound hole, & put the E100 on the neck. Anything exceptional for $200 or less,,, if something sticks out for a little more, I'll live. Thanks all & best of health~

A second-hand SE4400a is about as cheap as you'll get something decent.
Below that, I'd say you won't find something that's both multi-pattern and good-sounding. You'll have to choose.
Keep an eye on the usual places, you might snag a bargain.

Thanks Chris , Very nice looking mic, but much more than I want to spend. I understand you get what you pay for, but there's got to be something less expensive, & mighty capable.
Thanks for the recommendation, & will furthur investigate.
Stay safe & be well~

A large dia condenser for $200 ? And multi pattern. Not asking for much. The only one I could find is this.

All cheap condenser mics I've tried since 15 years (recording as a hobby, few projects a year) have sounded pretty bad.. initial impression might be good, but eventually you hear the resonances and distortion and stuff that just sounds weird. Cheapest condenser mic that doesn't have this kind of problems I've come across is the Beyerdynamic mc930. If I was buying multipattern mic I'd look for used AKG 414, which could be sold almost without losses if you don't like it. It has been pretty standard mic in many studios very long time, which suggests it doesn't have weird sound 😉
One option is to take a low cost mic and upgrade the capsule. In my case a CAD GXL3000. This can be had for $120 approx. A quality capsule is about $80. I opted for a C414 derivative.
