I just bought this DAC pretty cheaply and it seems to have great potential, especially modified. That's why I would appreciate if somebody could share schematic of that unit.
I already prefer it to Benchmark DAC, as it has more "organic" signature, although less detailed. Pretty nicely done inside too.
I paid $200 as it was sold as "broken". The only defect was a blown fuse.
A Stereophile review from April '96 was actually pretty accurate describing that unit.

It was priced that low only because sold as non functional. Noramlly, you can see it on Audiogon at $600.
I took a chance buying it; if DAC chip was damage, it wouldn't present much value anyway.
The transformers are made by Talema. I think Digi Key carries them as well.
