Hi All, I am a little new to the pro-audio components (as I am setting up a home system).
I have been reading a lot about power amps (as I need more than what I am currently using).
The Crown XLS series (like a 1500) is about in the power range I am looking for, but there is also the QSC RMX series...
Just wondering peoples' opinions on which brand they would choose....
Any help would be excellent.
I picked up an 8-channel line mixer/ distribution amp that will run 4 of the amps above, and the 19" racks are in place.

Not sure why you want to use pro equipment for a home system? I have the XLS 1500, I use it for my sub. Great for bass but nothing else. The other amps need to be a step up in sound quality - I would look at Emotiva for multichannel, and use the Crown for the sub.
