looking for Morel bookshelf design

Hey all, i was searching and searching but i couldn't anything.

looking for high level bookshelf design with using morel drivers, or at least using Morel tweeter (woofer size 6-6.5")
i can pretty much buy the highest quality morel drivers for the project, but i dont know make cross or cabinet (more like calculate the size or which design)

In other words Im looking for ready cross and cabinet size . that was already tested by someone.

btw i have seen the ziv2 kit on Madisound, and im not interested in it.
 
Order from Hobby HiFi German magazine the data specifics for the high end project published in 1/2014 issue under name M1-Morel, die Erste. Drivers are TiCW 634 Nd and ST1048, vented cabinet. Found it in Hobby HiFi Archiv.
 
I see, although it's made to be floorstanding speakers, that is just a bookshelf driver optimized for about 13 litres or so. The XO filter would still apply for a bookshelf style cabinet. I recommended Hobby HiFi for it's one of the reliable sources of good sounding kits.

Tetra also uses Morel Drivers another excellent sounding speaker.
I would love to put my hands on the tsm-mm latest version of the bookshelf cross schematics and cabinet build, did you already find them or looking for them?

both kits you got there are lower level then the ziv2 🙂 and i said the ziv2 does not interest me atm, so those other design definitely dont interest me 🙂

 
I built a 2-way with the TSCW636 and a TLabs N26MGR-G in a floor-standing cabinet. All you would have to do is build the same x-sectional area style box, and shorten the length to be a bookshelf, and retune the port to yield the bass in a bookshelf system.

I used a faceted baffle, so they are not easy to build.
The xover had to be external because it would not fit in the cabinet. If you build this and deepen the dimensions, you would be able to keep the tuning and make the xover fit, whilst still being a bookshelf. You could just 'fold' the cabinet (so to speak) to make it into a bookshelf.

These are my best 2-ways, and I really enjoy them. I call them 'Cecropia Supreme Edition'

Wolf's speaker looks very nice indeed, aside from one issue common to all bookshelf/single woofer "floor standers" [with the traditional high mounted woofer] - I'm typically somewhat disappointed with stand mount or floor standers with just a single [high placed woofer] because of a significant floor bounce cancellation that occurs around approximately 150 - 200 Hz depending on positioning of the speakers and listener, and height of the listener's ears, you can see it illustrated here (circled by me in red with a triangle shape) - this FBC can be ameliorated by implementing the speaker in a design with an additional woofer mounted on the front of the cabinet located lower to the floor.

However, most listeners do seem content to live with this when the speaker is otherwise excellent - if you were not, I imagine Wolf would be happy to assist you in building a modified version of his speaker with an additional woofer, if you were so inclined, and you asked him nicely?

Honestly, the 70-90Hz range is more important than the 100-200Hz range, IMO. Generally, the 120-150 Hz range can get monotonous depending on the music, so It doesn't really bother me.

Also- some designs with floor proximal woofers can be emphasized in the bass due to the loading and the room. Therefore, it might fix the one problem, but hinder in another.
