Haven’t built any tube stuff yet but a chance reading of the 6C33C has given me the bug.

After a brief search I may have started to answer my own question.

If you haven't built anything with tubes, I'd start with something smaller.

Also the 6C33C is a pain in the butt compared to what you can do with sweep tubes... Cathode biasing these tubes wastes tonnes of power, too.

And definitely trigger the smoke detector and darken the house if the three power switches are turned on in the wrong sequent.

I done lots of class A amps with heatsinks the size of a small dog so I fear no heat!

very similar to the simplex circuit - just more output tubes...my simplex runs few years fine with 420 v @ frontend and 210v @ 250ma per output tube.
