Wondering if anyone has a CDPRO2 controller kit laying around they never used or finished. the controller boards, displays, etc etc. whats out there??
I've the Daisy controller kit that comes with the VFD display and the remote control that comes with the kit. Both in NOS. 🙂
PM if interested.
PM if interested.
I have the PCBs (4 sets) for this project: http://www.bergrans.com/site/cd-pro2mlf-cd-player/
PCB layout is my own design but schematic is original. It can accomodate LCD or OLED display.
I can also burn the software to the microcontroller chip. Also, I can also provide Eagle files.
PM if interested. (not pictured but I think I have the motor driver board and button board also somewhere)

I have a transport kit for the CDPRO2 that was offered by diyhifi.net around 2010 ish. I sold my CDPRO2 module and never built the kit. It's a control board, display, and remote. Digital output like SPDIF, Optical, and AES. It has a case with top loading CD. I'm somewhat certain that it's complete but it might be short a few screws or brackets etc. etc. The boards are all assembled with high quality components and the transformer is a Plitron that was custom wound for the kit. The hifidiy.net site is gone but you may be able to pull up some info with the wayback machine. I don't have any instructions per se but it's pretty much straight forward.
I paid $450 new several years ago for the kit but would sell it as I have no need for CD transports anymore. With the case and transformer it'll be heavy to ship but I'll work with you on that no problem. I'll sell it for a steep discount if you're interested. PM me and I'll send you some pics and we'll talk
