Hello Everyone,
I'm an optical scientist and I need a dlp. I'll be using a laser source for the light so I don't need ballasts, light, etc...
What I'm looking for is a unit easy to find on the used market, high res but most importantly it has to be high contrast. This unit also has to be confirmed that bypassing the ballast is easy to do.
What brand and unit would you all suggest?

Infocus LP530/500, X1/X2,
the lamps of these projectors are expensive, so the old projectors without lamp are cheaper

hey what kind of laser light engine are you using? is it small enough to fit into the focal point of where the old bulb would of been?
Hello Everyone,
No, not small enough. It's a whole room. The optical table I work on is many feet sq. The laser itself is 5 feet long.
