lHello everyone,
I am looking for a 3 way DIY speaker kit. I have seen that Troels Gravesen offers some 3WC Classic kits. Has anyone had any experience with these kits and can give me some tips on how these models differ in sound?
The loudspeaker is intended for a 23 square meter room. Of course I am also grateful for other 3WC tips.
Many thanks, Jo

A few years ago I built his SEAS 3WC Mk II (link here). These sounded lovely, very easy to listen to without losing any detail. My only complaint was that the bass was a quite a bit woollier with my zero-feedback 300B amps than with the UL EL84 Croft Series 5 that preceded them, but that was certainly not through any shortcomings in the speakers.
I ended up replacing them with another TG design, the MUN-17, which uses Hypex plate amps for the woofers and works much better in my system.

Notwithstanding the well regarded quality of the designs, my understanding is that you need to buy the whole kit (drivers and crossover parts) from Jantzen Audio, so if you don't live in Europe the shipping might be a bit expensive: happy to be proved wrong on that point. I looked at Troels' designs when considering my first build, but that factor rather put a dampener on things.
He's recently done a 3 way design with SB budget drivers which looks nice.

You don't need to buy the drivers through Jantzen - I got the drivers for both my TG projects from Falcon here in the UK, so I didn't pay international shipping costs on those.

I checked and you're absolutely right, but even buying just the crossover parts would still make it too expensive for me to ship to Oz.
Here's the design I mentioned above:
