Look for Mic/Instrument level ADC to I2S or SPDIF

Dear all,

I'm looking for a Mic Level/Instrument level ADC that converts to either I2S or SPDIF.

I'm basically trying to get the signal from my Bass Guitar to my soundcard, bypassing the AC97 codec (which is extremely noisy).

I've been searching for a couple of days, and haven't really found any solutions. The closest I got was a couple of the miniDSP interfaces, but they dealt with balanced signals.

I don't want to build something from scratch. I'd like to buy a module that is ready to use. The DSP runs at 48kHz, so I don't need any high sample rates.
