Has anybody ever owned of these? If I use the advertised measurements I end up at about 40 litres. But these dimensions may include feet and the protruding driver grill. The Z-5500 also included an amp which would further eat into the available volume.
I have a 30 litre box. I've simmed the Tangband driver - it didn't look good.

The volume occupied by the amp, port, driver and bracing also must be reduced from the gross interior cabinet dimensions. If I use the advertised measurements I end up at about 40 litres.
Gross or net?I have a 30 litre box.
The Z-5500 uses plenty of filters to achieve whatever response it has.I've simmed the Tangband driver - it didn't look good.
The Logitec woofer may not have the same TS parameters as what you simmed.
Which Tangband driver did you sim, with what Fb (box tuning) and net volume ?

I know this, that's why I'm trying to find the net internal volume. The volume occupied by the amp, port, driver and bracing also must be reduced from the gross interior cabinet dimensions.
GrossGross or net?
There's no way that sub is 40 litres. The driver is advertised as 10", so maybe the interior is 30 litres without the giant 4" port tube, the amp, and the driver motor assembly. If I use the advertised measurements I end up at about 40 litres.
330 x 337 x 460 = 51 litres (gross). There's no way that sub is 40 litres. The driver is advertised as 10", so maybe the interior is 30 litres without the giant 4" port tube, the amp, and the driver motor assembly.
Assume 12mm timber = 41.7 litres internal.
Subtract 3 litres for driver & port = 38.7.
