If you don't know the t/s parameters you have two options
1- make a new box with the same volume and duct lenght, but stronger
2- find someone to meassure the parameters and design a new box
i don't if it's worth to modify, since the 5500 is already a good speaker

I pulled the Tang Band 10 out of the stock box,
Installed it in a 58 liter box and ported it for 32Hz--works very well. Use an 11 cm tube 40.6 cm long and it works very well with around 100 watts of power.
