I bought a Logitech Z-560 setup at a garage sale. It is missing the control pod but I was able to take the amp apart and decipher the wires to confirm that it works. I would like to build my own control pod since I think the origional only containes a few switches and pots. However, I cannot be sure of this since one of the wires to the control pod has -18V on it.
Here is where I humbly ask for someones help. If anyone had this unit would they mind opening it and answering a couple of questions.
1 Does the unit only contain passives.
2 Does the unit contain a small preamplifier.
3 Where are the red, black, blue and Green wires connected.
I would appreciate any help I can get but I will understand if no one is willing to take apart a perfectly good unit.
Regards, Doug
