I did the mistake of trying to use a search-engine to locate some IC's at a good price. Stupidly I entered my e-mail address and promptly I was contacted by numerous (>50) asian suppliers fighting to get the deal. Most of the "suppliers" are not ready to provide samples so I will not proceed by this route.
After a couple of weeks some are still contacting me, begging to get the deal (see below), and sometimes their argumentation is quite funny 🙂
Dear Sir,
As the deer pants for the water, so my hope longs after your order.
You are my friend and you are my brother, even though you have purchased or your customer has not decided.
Your feedback are the real joy-giver,so I long to hear from you.
Best regards.
Dear Sir,
In the English language, there is a word: feedback.
I think that it means ”back to feed”, you will come back to feed us right? Or how could this word exist in the dictionary?
Best regards.

SeekIC have a large number of schematics on their site, some of which appear to have been stolen from magazines like Wireless World, circa 1970, quite interesting.
Some of them are captioned rather oddly, and I recently started a thread on here about a valve "headphone" amp they described as amphibious...........
I'm sure that all the devices they offer are made by who it says on the label, and that they perform as per the spec sheets, but I'm not going to be testing that theory any time soon.
