Would a bar supporting a tweeter horizontally across the middle of a mid-woofer (sort of like the Gethain designs flipped 90 degrees) have an effect on lobing similar to an MTM?
Would a bar supporting a tweeter horizontally across the middle of a mid-woofer (sort of like the Gethain designs flipped 90 degrees) have an effect on lobing similar to an MTM?
Kind of, but not really. There's some similarity but much of the effect will be symmetrical through the middle, as opposed to symmetrically about the middle as in traditional MTM.
