In particular, how to setup the correct chip bias voltage, what size toroidal transformer and whether the same voltage can be used for chip (pre driver) and drivers(only need 100 Watts)

As you can see LME chip works perfectly when supplied at the same voltage as power stage.
For 100w, twin outputs and a 2x36Vac to 2x40Vac transformer will do giving 2x50Vdc to 2x56Vdc when rectified and filtered.
As for VA rating, from 200VA to 400Va for two channels.

I have built several amplifiers using LME49810 and 49830.
Some with single pair outputs, one with 2x5 Sanken pairs.
It combines the precision of a chip and the clean power of discrete.
And you can try as many different output stages as you like.
I like to use a pcb for the chip and point to point for the output stage obtaining a very versatile rig.
I have been using classA amps for years and have been tired of low efficiency.
Really these chips are outstanding.

I note that in my reading on the many threads on this chip implementation, that there are many many options (BJTs and Mosfets) considered as the power elements. Panson in particular seems to have devoted an extraordinary effort in analysis of best components. Is there a summary page/thread of developed wisdom?
