My email reply was in my spam folder all along
He did reply to my emails but my server (Verizon) sent them to my spam folder even though it was a reply with my sending address and original text included.
.
So all is well.
.
I will wait for the M-9810-C+ as he is out of LME49810 until the end of the month. I will also have to order a couple of M-9830-A+ to compare the sound of BJT vs mosfet side by side since no one here has reported on that.

I'm planning both as well.sendler said:I will wait for the M-9810-C+ as he is out of LME49810 until the end of the month. I will also have to order a couple of M-9830-A+ to compare the sound of BJT vs mosfet side by side
I'll be waiting for your results from your comparison and measurements of the two. It will be interesting to see if you come to the same conclusion as I did on my home-brewn amps! 🙂

I would rather just take your word for it if you will let us in on the secret.😉
Sendler, not much of a secret 😉 as I have already posted my thoughts and results:

Have made minor improvements since then on the MOSFET version, but haven't implemented these yet on the BJT.

Final decision for mosfet
Very nice. That is the answer I was looking for when I started this thread. I will now go with the M-9830-B module which is in stock.

I've spent many, many hours listening to the amp, still one channel MOSFET while the other is BJT. After careful consideration I find the MOSFET sound slightly, but distinctly, more agreeable to my (and my families) ears. Why I don't know but it seems to have something to do with odd/even harmonics.

Has someone tried Lateral mosfets instead of Vertical yet?
What about using the 9830 with drivers and BJTs?
