Does it have a high pass filter that depends on the input impedance of this amplifier?

Maybe youre right and my ears are used to the other amps. Anyway, I miss more bass in some recordings.

Do you think a preamp could help here?

I doubt it. But I'm sure a graphic equalizer would... 🙂
