LM317 LM337 powersupply

My latest build is this LM317 LM337 adjustable powersupply.

Nothing fancy, but a nice all in one powersupply for preamps and other projects.

I suggest decreasing R3 and R4 to 120 Ω to ensure that 10 mA is drawn from the regulator. The LM317/337 require a minimum current of 10 mA (worst case) to regulate. You'll have to recalculate R5, R6 accordingly. I also suggest adding a thermal pad between the ICs and their heat sinks to ensure good thermal contact.

Nice boards, though.

The leds are connected to the output, I was hoping this is enough load for the regulators to work without connecting anything.
 
Another powersupply that I'm working on. LT108X low drop regulator in combination with switchable mode: normal/voltage doubler and soft start.
Circuit was designed by somebody else, I made the layout.

Can be used for tube amplifiers when only 6.3V is available as heater supply. Als usable as normal powersupply.
