“cracking noises“? the chips were clipping maybe?
Can u post a schematic for the parallel amp?

hi 2 of these modules together !changed the 220uf caps for 470 uf and put 2 x .5ohm resistors on the outputs ( all resistors are finely matched )

hi the speakers are 6ohm me thinks ! q acoustics 3020 but had similar effects with my test speakers as well ! power supply is 24v ! but in parallel no such problems

Paralleled? Yes, with appropriate series resistances in the output of the amplifiers you put in parallel. I do not see such in the schematic you show. Try for a start with 1 Ohm in series with the output of each amplifier and see if that helps. If successful you may reduce the 1 Ohm.

heres a pic ! in my opinion they look ok ! looks like laser etch ! not the usual white smeary print also chip on side has that shiny copper indent at top of chip

This is a fake chip. He has a small, fake crystal
