However, if you don’t have a permission from Pass Labs to produce and sell their designs (even in your rubbish variant), that’s everywhere in the civilized world called a THEFT.

Interesting - and confusing. Is it language or translation, since it also could sound ironic? I have some of your products, LJM, and I actually like them. But why do make and sell junk if you can develop and sell good products?

We have his own claims (not only in this thread) that he has sold a lot of copies of Pass Labs, Quad, Goldmund, FM, Mark Levinson … and that those designs are all junk. Probably, those copies are sold only on China market. That doesn’t change fact that those are unlicensed copies for profit.
His designs under LJM brand are not in question.

This is not a fake. This is only a DIY product. Their PCB appearance is not the same. Except that the circuit is the same. In DIY. This is normal. You shouldn't be surprised. Everyone has imitated the machine of the manufacturer.
