Everything about the L25D module looks good...except the recommended voltages. Supposed to require +/-60 to +/-80, and after filtering I expect to have around +/-55V, maybe a volt or two more.
Anyone familiar enough with these assemblies to say whether the lower voltage is an issue?

I assume you are talking about a linear supply when you say "after filtering".
Keep in mind that as you demand power from the system, the voltage on the rails of a linear supply will fall. The extent to which this happens depends on the power capability of the transformer and the size of the reservoir capacitors used. Unless you oversize the linear PS by a good margin, I am afraid that the sag in the rail voltages will trip any undervoltage protection that might be on board when you "turn it up". The LD25 supposedly has undervoltage protection, although I am not sure what that is set to.

There is no Z101 on the L25D board , so no UVP .
You might consider changing the resistors R117 and R118 as mentioned here :

I see no problems running your amps on +/- 55V Give it a try , you wont damage it !
Cheers ,

Thanks for your mention of this. I wasn't aware that UVP was left off. Do you happen to know offhand if that is the case for the LJM designed L15D (mono) board as well?
In any case, I think some people aren't aware just how much the rail voltages sag in a linear power supply, so I thought I would mention it with the cautionary note.

Yep , no UVP on L15D , Layout is almost identical as the one mentioned in the previous post , except for the Fet's . have one working fine on +/- 30 V as a bench test amp , no Mods , except an upgraded input Cap .
