Hi fellow audiophiles, I would want to know your experiences with
LittleDiode
They sell parts which are many many years out of manufacture, like most of the old pioneer transistors which are not in makign from 80s. How so they have them? Are they genuine? Are they china fakes and will not work well?
This is like last page i was able to find those transistors, even modern equivalents are now obsolite so they are very hard to find. Is it safe to buy on little diode and use those? 🙂

Hi,
about four years ago I ordered some 2SJ109 dual JFets fom Littlediode. I received genuine parts. Only their prices are a bit on the high side.

Littlediode are one of the companies that specialise in stocking last time buy parts, to sell them later to companies that have to buy genuine parts for maintenance in QA paranoid industries like aerospace. They don't have to sell cheap. Note that they have ISO-9001 approval.
well I found that on my pioneer sa 7800 2SA1075 are both dead... this part is very hard to get tho... bad for me...

I don't believe littlediode stock that many parts, they are not even a reputable and authorized dealer of ANY major electronic components. I would classify them as a broker, just like Utsource. Littlediode has a fantastically huge number of items, over 100k+ listed on their eBay store. more than double Utsource's 48k+ items listed on eBay.
Check LittleDiode's physical address. it shows a 3 story self-storage building at the corner of Dunbar Rd and Kingston Rd.
Their website was obviously put up to direct unwitting buyers into a search engine trap. No pictures for most of the parts, just a no frills website with tons of part numbers ripped from parts catalogs that is meant for search engine spiders to ultimately find. I'm surprised that their website doesn't feature a generic beautiful face wearing a headset. That would have been a very nice touch.
Check his YouTube channel.
Read littlediode_component's neutral and negative eBay feedbacks. Does the customer's negative experience excluding the slow shipping complaints reflect that of an ISO-9001 certified organization?
Who enforces ISO-9001 certification claims anyway?

Sanken still produces MT-200 packaged BJTs and are ready to ship from DigiKey.

Andersonix, you made my day! That picture is sooo funny. She is holding that iron by hot part!
What is the source of this pisture? Some months ago it became viral (via WhatsApp etc.) in Germany as an advertise parody with some text that roughly is translated to: "We're craftsmen. We know how to do it."
Best regards!

Just because they have the ISO9001 logo on their info, it does not mean they are registered . Note:- who with ?
I stopped being an ISO9001 consultant 15 years ago when some companies started offering a 'complete package' from first visit to 'registration' in three months - not worth the paper it was written on.

I've never had any problems with LittleDiode, but I have only ordered items that they have in stock. Cricklewood Electronics is another good source of obsolete parts.
Remember, ISO-9001 has really nothing to do with quality, just consistency....
As long as you do the same crap every time, you're in compliance....
So in general, I don't care about ISO-9001. Once used an ISO-9001 certified contract manufacturer, they delivered crap....
Also, buying parts from a broker is hit and miss, once had to buy some parts, they came mishandled so I had to scrap them....
