performed by someone who is thoroughly familiar with
the safety precautions around high voltages.
I'm pretty sure I ruined the board too, so mine is in the trash. The GE tubes are on eBay. If it helps anyone, replacing all the caps with nichicon 50v units seemed to up the gain quite a bit.
