I have made a little portable music system and powered it up with four Lithium battery by making a 2S battery pack. It should give 8.4v when fully charged. Everything is fine but I found it very difficult to charge this pack fully. I like to make a charging system with full charge indication led. Can anyone help?
Can you provide more details, what are the cells you are attempting to charge and what are the charging parameters you are using? What you are describing is a 2S2P pack configuration.
How do you determine the cells are fully charged, and are you monitoring cell temperature during charge?
Charging and discharging lithium ion cells in particular can be extremely hazardous if not done correctly.

I must back up Kevin,s comment on charging lithium cells .
I have spent years helping the general public in the UK & USA on questions like this and exploding lithium batteries is a very serious subject .
I have a long list (archived ) of UK/USA incidents on this and be aware in both countries Legislation has been enacted to fine and take to court many companies selling sub standard batteries .
As a member of the USA website Class Action I get emailed on many cases of exploding batteries -severe injury and large damages awarded .
