considerations:
I have never liked electrostatics, however the soundstage is remarkable, but they always lack in volume with certain music and you risk doing 1000eu damage.
The Audiostatics need fixing, they have the classic sagging membrane which then translates into an absence of bass.
also the two power amps definitely need calibrating, perhaps the capacitors are tired and the bias needs adjusting. in b-wiring with the Matrix instead everything changes, even if I have always thought that the woofer of the Matrix is a bit too invasive.
