Greetings!
I am a new member, but have been lurking here for quite a while. This is the best collection of info on DIY projectors I have seen anywhere, and the members here have provided me with valuable information.
I would like to announce a new product - LiquiScreen Front Projection Coating. This is a special coating that can be applied to any paintable surface, transforming it into a high quality video screen. The performance of this screen is comparable to commercial screens such as the DaLite Video Spectra.
A normal application of LiquiScreen will create a screen that has approximately 1.4 gain. Multiple top coats may be used, extending gain to 2+.
LiquiScreen was developed by myself, and LiquiScreen, Inc. is a home-based, family business. We are not a major corporation - we are fellow DIY'ers who love finding new ways to do things!
If you are interested in creating a top quality DIY projection screen, please take a look at our site.
Thank you,
Garry Stoner

I have a 12x9 screen (108 sq feet) Looks like I will need at least 3 packs of 1qt combo. That is 80x3=$240.00 plus shipping. Isnt this thing too pricey for the people on DIY budget?
Comparison to Screen Goo
Has anyone used this new product? Can anyone share some info?
How does this LiquiScreen compare to Screen Goo?
How does the gain change with the viewing angle of Screen Goo and LiquiScreen compare to a plain old white wall or Plastex?
I rejected my idea of the Pearlescent paint because I needed to be right in front of the screen to get maximum gain (it worked great if I was straight in front). If I was viewing from an angle it looked too dark.
I would hate to spend all of this money to find out it (LiquiScreen or Screen Goo) had a poor viewing angle performance. (what is the proper term?)
Thanks all
