Anyone else taken an approach similar to this?
This is my current setup, which ive been running for over 5yrs now.
My main reason for this complex setup is so i can run the very steep xovers needed from my Seas magnesium coned mid's.
Of course it has many other advantages too 🙂
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

No, not yet, but it looks promising!
(and very flexible)

I do something similar on windows but with analogue out on the pc.
What sound card are you using that has 3X spdif out? The only reason i'm not outputing to a set of dacs is the sound cards i've found don't have the spdif connections.

I have been wanting to. Where did you get a card with 3 SPDIFs?
There is a Foobar plugin that is an Xover, but I want to use my own DACs, not the soundcard ones. I was considering a PC w/ 4 sound cards in it. 3 or 4 digital outs on one card would be awesome.
The alternative is to modify a card, bypassing it's DACs. I have very little experience with SMDs.
I see you are using lin-lin representation of the filters. Shouldn't the lines be somewhat curved in that case? Response of the filters is a straight line only in log-log diagrams.
I would like to do the same but only with digital inputs. I do not want to play my music on the PC.

I'm looking for the same thing, SPDIF IN, 3x/4x SPIDF OUT
