Linn or Pro-Ject?
I am thinking of buying a second hand record player. And I am doubt between a Linn Axis (last version) with Akito arm or a Pro-Ject 6.9 with the Pro-Ject 9 arm.
Of course Linn has reputation for (not only) turntables but can it compete against a modern Pro-Ject? On the web you can read from both turntables excellent reviews but what is the comparison? Is just its reputation that makes the Linn better than the Pro-Ject or is it really superior?

Hi Triumph ,
i think the Linn is better , the Axis was and is a real Best Buy
for such little Money such good Sound Quality !
The Linn is very easy to set up and very uncomplicated ,
the LP12 is not such better , than the cost sugest ,
i have one LP12 with Lingo and 2 Axis with Akito , for that little
money that the Axis cost , it is a real bargin !
