Hi, probably a bit basic for here but i'm after a schematic for a Majik DS (the early one) its a PCAS 754/L1R3. A friend has pulled a cap off the board and looking for a schematic to find a point to hard wire to. I've asked Linn and nothing as yet (lol).
There is a schematic on Elektrotanya but it's for a PCAS 175 and the circuit component idents don't match at all.
Any help is appreciated.

Not easy to find Jerry it could be the vital phase shift capacitor used to drive the motor , the Majik is just an upgrade on the original supply with an additional mains filter.
I am told a Rega power supply could be fitted but haven't checked that out yet, the Majik power supply was superseded several times but it doesn't get a good write up on many websites , one guy when he looked inside said if he had spent the full price he would --"lob it through the window he bought it from " --obviously didn't think the electronics were worth it.

Many thanks duncan2, I replaced the smd caps in the power supply and it's back to life again. Good times helping out a friend in need.
