i am building a LT subwoofer using a car sub for home application , one-thing that has me concerned is the amplifier power requirement , the total power requirement comes to close to 1.2 - 1.5Kw , i have checked the excursion is within limits and all , but in reality does the sub really need that much power cause i will be building the plate amp myself any help will be highly regarded. The box volume i am using is 23L, with that Qtc comes to 0.927 and FSC - 51hz i am planning on using LT to bring it down to 35Hz and Qtc - 0.8.
