Linkwitz transform questions

I was just rooting the through my parts bin and came across some ne5534's and tl072's, I've been thinking about trying out the LT for some time so I figure this is the perfect oppotunity to get on with it. My current sub set up consists a Paradigm X-30 controller(xo/phase/attenuation) feeding a stereo power amp which, in turn, feeds my two subs. I would like to incorporate the transform cuircuit into the controller case. The question is: do I wire the transform between my preamp and controller or controller and amp? the controller uses a 15v ps, I shouldn't run into any problems tapping it to power the transform or will I?

I built my circuit and it works very well...except for one thing, when it powers up it is dead quiet but after a few minutes it starts to hum. I suspect it is the power supply, a 16Vdc wall wart, it's not much of a power supply, I suppose. I do not understand why it doesn't hum untill it has been on for a few minutes though.
I followed the schem included in the spreadsheet from trueaudio and quadruple checked all the values and my wiring and layout. I'm a little impressed with myself. I did stray from Rod Elliot suggestion for using small capacitor values, only because I had some nice Wima caps laying around, it just makes the whole circuit unnessecerily large. I still have not installed it in a case, it's on a piece of veroboard till i'm sure I have everything worked out...
oh! this may have something to do with it too...I built two circuits onto one board because I have two subs, but I am only using one side because I only have one amp channel to work with at the time, anyway, is there a problem with the two transform circuits sharing a ground and supply rails? I assume not 'cause i see it done with many other circuits, but I am very new to this.
