Linear 2gang 25kOhm Pot for signal?

Hi
Has anyone an idea where I could get me such that linear 2-gang 25kOhm pot for audio-signal?
I've looked into all major supplier (mouser, digikey, distrelec, etc.), nothing found...

It would be for a balance-pot, according to sound-au's recommendation, here: ESP - A Better Volume Control

Weird, should be easy to find.

As of value: 25k is "oldspeak", preferred values were 10 - 25 - 50 and their multiples, 22k is "newspeak" copying the "standard series", practically the same under the hood.
In any case the common values are 10 - 22 - 47 (same as before 😉 )

I have never ever seen a, say, 18k pot (sometimes find a "20k" on) , a 33k one, 68k, 82k, etc.

Maybe they exist in Mouser pages and of course you can custom order *anything* ... as long as you order 5000 or more 😉

thank you for the hint… it is for balance control 🙂
And since I‘ll only occasionally push the soundstage around, I'll rather not use a knob per channel, even if this is the mo‘ radical technique (1 pot less per channel)

Ok then… anyone interested in a custom pot? (Fake groupbuy) [emoji23]

Havent given up, but yes, it’s a bit weird…

It’s probably the combination of resistance, 2-gang and then linear.
We Argentines still retain some Industry, despite the Globalization onslaught, and I can easily order 100 of anything.
"Official minimum is 300 but I´m an old customer (in all meanings of the word :boggled:😛) and they can´t say no.

Much easier than getting Alpha or some other monster factory interested. 😎

Not kidding:

EDIT:
If you want to use it for vol control, you do not want a linear one, but you want a pot with log characteristic.

Those are easier to get, there´s a wider market for them.

And the hardest ones are reverse Log/Audio (C1 slope) , needed for oscillators and parametric filters.

Oh yes, this too is an option.
I know but didn't dare mention it 😉
I am on the lookout and of course parts are "everywhere".

Should I make it so that attenuation in the middle position is 0dB (thus by balancing I would decrease overall volume, but wouldn't dump signal-strength)?
Or build a "stepped linear ladder attenuator"? (Also in this context: can a relay-type attenuator be built to become linear instead of logarithmic? Need to exercise...)

decisions, argh!
