Line in to amp

It was recommended to use silver wire for xlr and rca inputs. I figure basically no balanced or unbalanced cables are silver - maybe have some silver but not pure plus the wire to speaker terminals isn't silver be the terminals - just gold plated and insulated. so excuse my ignorance but I can't see silver wire making an issue. Internals contain no silver in the signal path except for payment Some silver solder. So would you say a quality shielded/sheathed copper wire is the same? If so since the gauge is small is solid or stranded better? Even the pcb mounted connects aren't silver so I'm pretty confident there will be no difference. But then again I can be incorrext
