I'm thinking to build a line array - I remember years ago, people were happy to try certain parts express close out drivers in arrays. Is there a present favorite in the very cheap surplus line array driver category?
I have 20 of the BG neo-8 magnetic planar drivers I bought originally for a planar array project. They are fantastic for such a project. Give them a look.
The BG drivers are flatter than the Chinese GRS clones and preferred, when you can find them...
Older bg tend to get loose aluminum conductors as the glue loses its grip over a period of time. I had 20 second hand ones that suffered from this.
