I was given this amp, making terrible noises... I am more fluent in tube than SS,butI was able to discern that one of its two channels is bad, all power supply voltages are good (found schematic and service manual online), good channel sounds great - all DSP works. Should I just replace the LM3886 on the bad channel? Attached schematic... any other likely suspects? Thanks!

If it is the output stage, I would look there with my oscilloscope first with a view to replacement.
I think that's entirely normal for a Line 6 guitar amp. 😀Line 6 amp...making terrible noises...
(I speak from experience, having been gullible enough to buy three different terrible-sounding Line 6 products during my misguided earlier years as a musician, hoping each time that this one would actually sound good.)
