Ok thanks, it must of been the ffc cable that was connecting when I pushed the left corner of the lcd, after that I took it apart, took the cables out and put them back in, which fixed it, so now I'm not too scared of stripping it again at least.
Thanks again,
Bob

Ok, this time I am not mad or anything like that, just very sad, so sad that it is making me very relaxed lol. Well I tried stripping it again and when I was finished I got the weird error screen, so I tried putting it back together and I still go the error screen, after around 2 hours of trying to make it go, I have gone from bad to worse, now all I get is a plain white screen. I don't know how it could be the ffc because I have been putting it in very carefully over and over, so I think it might be static. If you think it is static, where did you get your lilliput repaired ace? I just want to get the darned thing working, then I might sell it, I'm just too scared of screwing it up again.

hehehehe i havnt goten any lilliput repared yet, i hear that you can buy the small controller card for it but its not cheap, you can get them from japan at some recycled lcd place and thats only if its from static, the way i found the fault on mikes with was with mine, swoping the parts around to see what was dead. make sure u got the cables in the right way round and if you took the red fcc cable out its hard to get back in so it might not be all the way in, the white one takes alot to break.
Trev
Well I didn't even know the red one could be taken out, so maybe I pulled it out by accident, I'll have to check.
Thanks again,
Bob
Btw, I'm sure you said earlier in this thread that you had a lilliput sent for repairs. Ok, just read it again, you didn't have it sent for repairs then, it just needed repairs.
