lilliput 2.5 wiring

Hello All,

For the last year I have been modifying the sony 5" and 5.6 intec gamecube screens (gc-5272-c) for my video installation projects. I remove the plastic housing and make a nice wooden box around them for a clean presentation on the wall. So I only modify the exterior. Lately though I have needed to make easy repairs and I become more brave at "messing" with the innards.

My next video piece requires 2 small format LCD's. I have already purchased the Lilliput 2.5" monitors I needed. (code# 233gl-25np) Each Lilliput LCD will be placed in the eye socket of a casted bust. Then a DVD player will have an animation of eyes that will play on the lcd panels. (It's kinda creepy I know... but that's me)

The Problem
The lcd's each came with an ac adapter, but the wierd thing is that there's no place to plug in the power. Kinda strange to me. There is an a/v input plug (s-video) that goes into the back but that's it. They came this way new. They were all wrapped up new in the box. hmm. I was wondering if it was a simple thing as to solder the positive and negative to either side of the power switch? You think that's a bad assumption?

I have looked for documentation on these little monitors and can't find the controller board schematics. (That would help a bunch) I opened the plastic housing and took some pics of the inside. I was wondering what anyone thinks? I was going to do to post my problem in the lcd section of http://www.diyaudio.com/ (lots of guys there make their on DIY lcd projectors and a few have worked with lilliputs before) but I thought I would get your take. Hope you don't mind.

There is so much knowledge on these boards I thought I would ask. Here are some images of the inside.
