Yeah, to be used with a triplet they have to be perfectly flat, with yours being concave abit the singlet would work great, but if they wer totally flat the singlet would have some distortion on the sides of the image. Heat normally worps the frensels, wedging them in thin glass does the trick in keeping them flat.
