Hello to all
Let me be 100% clear on this matter
George is unhappy with the "Lightspeed" name being widely used by others
I think we should do him this small favour, and find a new name fore our own use
Please, make some suggestions that may be used fore DIY project, GBs etc
### Im not suggesting a contest #####
Just some suggestions, a "list" with alternative names, free to use fore all DIY projects
I will start by suggesting.......
"OptoSpeed LDR attenuator"

"OptoSpeed LDR attenuator"
Simple "LDR Audio attenuator"
Might have been a real good one
But we may better honor mr Tubelab George and let him keep the "Simple" name
At least this time
Well, its been posted here as well http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/group-buys/153388-lightspeed-attenuator-professional-pcb-25.html
Hmm, how about...... "Lightening"
And if it could make another member happy, audio1st....."Lightening Voluminator"
Well, sounds quite funny, attractive, possitive
Tho, I dont know what it really means

CASP LILADS is adapted from bear. Nobody will ever figure out what it means 10 years from now.
Same for "briat" instead of "brat" ... adapted from badge.

Perhaps a bit of Star Trek but, not so bad:
WARP-Attenuator
Wireless Alteration Resistor Potentiomenter

I call it already for LDR or opto, but there is surely a better name.
I think we can pay tribute to George and call it Georgie's delight (de-light).
