I purchased a projector kit a while ago (G&P Optoelectronics GmbH & Co. KG - HDready Beamer Teile 01-01-01) and have modified it to put in a 400w Osram HQI-TS bulb.
The optics are as follows:
• Triplet/Objective f=330mm
• Front face mirror 225 x 140 x 4mm
• Reflector d=68mm, f=40mm
• Condenser lens d=76mm, f=127.5mm
• Fresnel lens (x2) cut f=220 and f=330mm
I've tried for hours and I still cannot get an even lighting on the screen.
I've tested with a Lux meter but the center of the image (without an LCD fitted) is twice the brightness of the edges.
Is it normal to get this much of a vignette effect? How can I fix it and get much more even light distribution?
