Life After the Oil Crash

The main reason is to pi$$ off those who can't. 😀

I like traction being the limit to my possible acceleration. I did once own a S-10 Blazer that didn't have enough torque to back my loaded trailer into my driveway. Worthless little 2.8l POS.

I take it I can't interest you in a smart, then?

'At lot?' Not at all. Laughed at? No way.

Says who? You?

I'm too busy trying to stay out of the way of giant diesel fume belching semis, dumptrucks, and concrete trucks to 'laugh' at the rare duck who drives a diesel powered car, even if I was inclined to do so. Btw, when I see someone tooling around in a really small car, my main reaction is to hope the emergency response team has the 'jaws of life' available in case that vehicle is ever involved in an accident.

My one foray into owning a small fuel efficient car suddenly ended six months after I paid it off when a college student late for class ran two red lights and hit me at 50mph. She never hit the brakes even though she saw me well ahead of time. So, I'm currently driving a 5.7 Liter Chevy Tahoe🙂
