Yes. The iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch are used for their computing power & display capabilities.

Just got a new computer, 8 gigs ddr3 ram, 750gig hard drive etc and downlowded REW, then ordered that mic. i'll see how it works out!

I had the MiniDSP turn up a few weeks ago, and was given an iPad for christmas. Camera connection kit to come next pay day, hope it works!

So it seems there are calibration file issues with the UMIK.

I am going to send mine to cross spectrum labs and have them calibrate it. Just contacted them about doing So.

Cross Spectrum responded within 5 mins!

$55 for on axis calibration, includes return shipping within USA. And 24-48 hour turn around. Worth it to me, I'm shipping it out Monday morning.

I never shipped my mic out, I completely forgot lol. I will eventually been super busy.


But good news, the UMIK works with the iPad with just the camera connection kit ($30)

Has anyone used the Audio Tool app from Performance Audio? It's 10x cheaper than the Studio Six app. I have the iMM6 mic and wonder if the Perf Audio app can take a calibration file like the Studio Six does. I'm sorry if this was addressed before. I'm just getting the software started.
