I've been modding and restoring a set of dittons. Since last re soldering everything there is less bass from one side, mainly the sub end of things. I swapped the woofer so it points to being the crossover as it remained on the same side.
Does anyone have any idea what it would be? Am I somehow making a hpf somewhere?

It's a fair difference that I'm going, the left is weightier than the right. Could it be a cap or inductor that had died?
I don't know, not really if you're talking about the lowest bass and it's just a 2nd order lowpass, which is what I imagined. Maybe start with disconnecting the whole crossover, just running the woofers alone wide open in each, A/B that and see what you get. Also swap amp/pre/etc. channels, just in case, if that's not already ruled out.
You have these speakers in pretty much the same location, not like opposite corners of a room, right?

I'm intend on checking the location and amp just to rule them out. Phase is something I considered although resoldering the polarity just made it worse. I might re do the crossover if all else fails.
