My first post. I did search, but didn't have any luck. I started out with the cheapo fresnels that you get on ebay, I knew it was a scam, but the scientist in me wanted to try it.
Later, I ended up buying another lens from ebay. I'm actually, getting a pretty dang good 90" diagonal picture from a 13" TV. But I have to have a super dark room, and I'm in the process now of compiling all the other parts I need to make a better projector (scrap the 13" TV!)
The lens that I got is a Beseler Series III 12.5 E.F. Does anyone know where I can find any info on it? I've searched high and low but haven't found anything on it yet. I got it off ebay, and the seller didn't know much about it except that he thought it came from a Beseler projector. It is a barrell with a lens on either end.
Or, if I can't find any info on it... if anyone knows if it will be a decent lens for my projector, that's what I really want to hear!🙂
