Hi,
I'm making wood casing for my DIY DAC and an other one for my preamp?
my dac board has the diodes bridges (several) embeded, close to the dac chip.
I have several R-Core transformer with 20 cm secondaries wires.
What is the best strategy please for the sound quality : screwing the power supply traffos as far than 20 cm or reducing the wires length to putt the traffos as close as possible (2 cm instead 20 cm) at the price of more magnetic shields towards the pcb dac board ?
Another question please : having 4 R-Core power transformes : should I screw each others at 90° to minimize magnetic shield coupling between them ?
Thanks for your advices,

Farther is better, also twist the wires.
Thanks Rayma.
Often there will be a minimum pickup orientation for the transformer
Experiment with the relative placement until the pickup is minimized.
